The Legacy Playhouse

THE LEGACY PLAYHOUSE

Southwest Ohio. Currently under design and construction oversight by Springhouse Architects. One of three landmark projects the Springhouse team is actively working on.

Not every client comes in with a mood board.

Some come in with a feeling. This one came in with a phrase: “with all the cool stuff.”

We designed their home on the highest point in the county outside Chillicothe, Ohio. The views — across the valley, across the forested hillside — go on for miles. Every room at the rear of the home is oriented toward them, with indoor-outdoor living that makes the horizon feel like it belongs to the house.

The family has two grown children, two young ones, and parents who are in the season of life where fun is a design principle, not an afterthought.

The lower level is built for hosting — and anchored by a full regulation pickleball court, ready for a friends and family tournament.

Designed for the family that knows how they want to live — and asked us to make sure the house could keep up.

Springhouse Architects. For clients who know what they want and deserve a firm that can deliver it.
