This one required patience.

Our client – someone who owns several homes across the country – found a piece of land outside Columbus that most buyers had overlooked. The approach: a private drive, then a long winding path through the forest.

And then: a slight rise in the land. A pond. A small island at its center. Silence.

We’ve worked with clients who buy a view. This one bought a secret.

The home we designed lives in two modes. Single-level for the couple’s daily life – private den, wine room, seamless indoor-outdoor living. Two-story for when the family arrives – guest suites, a game room, and a 40-foot retractable glass wall that dissolves the boundary between inside and the pool, the pond, and the boathouse.
