Sheri Scott Receives 2023 Entrepreneur Vision Award

A distinguished architectural firm, Springhouse Architects, has been helping shape Cincinnati’s residential landscape since 2008. The firm is led by Sheri Scott, a University of Cincinnati graduate with more than 25 years of architecture experience.

Scott’s dedication to her craft was recognized in 2023 when she received the esteemed John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award in the Minority and Women-Owned Businesses category. “I was humbled to receive this award,” Scott says, acknowledging the accomplishments of her fellow nominees. “There were other candidates in this category who have created very successful businesses for themselves as well. I’m truly honored.” Springhouse Architects, under Scott’s leadership, specializes in residential architecture, construction management and real estate development. She attributes much of her success to her robust support system, which includes the EntreArchitect Network and The Alternative Board (TAB).

“These groups really support their members and their businesses. We are able to learn from one another,” Scott says. Her vision for Springhouse Architects is dynamic and evolving. “We want to provide service to our clients for every step we take in the architectural process,” Scott explains. This comprehensive approach of architect-led design/build includes seeking out the perfect lot for their clients, creating a unique design and overseeing the building process. Scott and her team have also created an online community, Springhouse Collaborative, on Facebook. This platform provides resources and advice for those embarking on their home-building journey.
